We recently had an outstanding experience with Red Cap. After spending the summer and fall away, it’s always a pain to return to a house that hasn’t been lived in and cleaned for that long. It seems that we spend several weeks just catching up.

This year we wanted to do it differently and called Red Cap. Jeff and Steve arranged to do a deep cleaning of our home prior to our arrival. This included heavy duty cleaning both on the inside and outside (pressure washing, gutters, etc), washing the windows, replacing a failed kitchen faucet, putting freshly washed linens on all the beds, stocking the refrigerator with basics, and detailing one of our cars. In addition, they cleaned our boat and charged the battery so it was ready to go upon our return. Finally, they completed a host of other detailed tasks to put our home in move-in condition.

They reported, along with pictures, that our yard had been seriously neglected in our absence by our now-former landscaper and they arranged to have another landscaper, whom we now use, come in and make necessary repairs and cleanup as well.

In addition to all the work at a reasonable price, Jeff, Steve and Lauren gave us a great feeling of confidence that our home was safe in their hands while we were away. Hard to put a price on that!

We can’t say enough about the quality of work and the personal confidence that we experienced with Red Cap in our home.

Not only did we get emails re weekly house check ups with photos of house and grounds, but also deck and dock furniture removed before leaving and replaced upon our return.
